Season 8, Season 4 and Season 16 in bottom 4 and Season 17 and Season 25 not in the bottom 2? What a horrible opinion. You don’t have the right to share it on the internet, keep it to yourself. Also didn’t watch the rest of your boring video. Stopped watching at your 4th ranking.

Season 4 is my personal favorite season (but definitely not my critical favorite) and I do enjoy The Season That Shan’t Be Named (S8) if only for kudos for trying something different and because car fires are morbidly fun to watch and I prefer to watch it over most of the seasons 16-30.
My critical ranking of the best 10 seasons would be:
1. 7 «We Have a Bad Elephant» is quite possibly the single greatest episode ever.
2. 5
3. 12
4. 3
5. 31 Cast aside, there were moments of editing that reminded me of the show’s golden days; a return to form, I hope.
6. 9
7. 14
8. 18
9. 21
10. 4/6 Tie Love them or hate them, both seasons had… I’ll call them entertaining villainous teams mixed with epic locations and challenges.
Honorable mentions also go out to TAR Asia S3 & TAR Australia S2.
I remember Lena & Kristy. Had they pulled it off Season 6 probably would have ended differently. A lot of moments here I sooo remember visibly. I used to watch the show, but when they had to keep featuring reality show stars that turned me off a lot because I missed how they brought the ordinary American all over the world
Season 4 is my favorite and you ranked it on the bottom:( I am biased as I am friends with one of the contestants, but I actually did enjoy the season. It is always fun to see what other people think of what used to be one of my favorite shows!!
I’m surprised season 24 is even THAT high on your list. The lazy, sometimes childish, and dragged-out route for that season automatically makes it THE worst season by far, not to mention how bored and ticked off I was watching half of these undeserving all-star teams race that season. Even season 8’s children racers weren’t babied on the race like theirs was. Literally, some of the tasks in 24 reminded me of a kid’s birthday party or a state fair. It was that bad.
10:29 I mean, the rivalry of Kelly and Christy vs Starr literally changed the rules of the game. It happened off camera in their hotel when one of Kelly or Christy thought that Starr stole her bra, causing that hilariously random and petty rivalry. Since it happened off camera, contestants are now sequestered during Pit Stops.
Also, the reason why a lot of super fans hate 14 is due to the no-so-subtle riggery in the latter half of the race, especially the fact that the 3 penultimate legs were in China, where only 1 team could fluently speak Mandarin, along with there being language tasks for Mandarin. That and they generally find the cast underwhelming, but a lot of people hate that part of the race.
For season 15, something the hardcores hate is how Dennis and Eirika were hella screwed over at the final leg where their poker dealer actually miscounted their deal, causing it so that Dennis and Eirika potentially got it right and screwed them over (Same reason why the St. Petersburg leg from Season 17 is considered one of the worst legs because of the music task having multiple errors going on with judging. They just lucked out that that leg was a non-elim anyways, so they just equalized everyone at the start of the next leg).
You definitely should have worked in the season 31 winners, who previously raced and narrowly came in second in season 5, Colin and Christie.
I would also have included Chris and Alex season 2, you actually had Alex in a clip of a podcast with Brennan.
Unpopular opinion: but honestly I really didn’t enjoy season 25 at all. I really don’t understand why so many people enjoyed it. I felt like the route was pretty sub par, the cast was bland and not very likeable imo, and I just didn’t like it at all. Even season 24 I enjoyed more, despite the lazy challenges and routes of that season, and the majority underserving “all star” teams.
My season rankings and reasoning:
GOD TIER (truly delivered on the cast, tasks, locations, and everything in between, defined TAR): 17, 11, 12, 5
TOP TIER (stood out from the rest, great cast, sets of good tasks/locations, entertaining fillers): 10, 2, 7, 25, 13
HIGH TIER (great and alright teams, great to good tasks and locations, fun to watch): 1, 8, 14, 15, 16, 19, 20, 30
MID TIER (okay batch of teams, meh editing, nothing particularly special): 3, 4, 6, 9, 18, 23, 29
LOW TIER (underbaked, subpar editing and tasks, marginally decent cast): 21, 22, 27, 28, 31

Colin & Christie (#9) is the beginning of the Dominant Tier (Top-Bottom Tier) that they complete control the game.
And also Colin & Christie will be the The Amazing Race Top 10 Best Team Of All-Time (Top 10 Best Team Ever) in the Future.
I agree with having BJ & Tyler in the top tier. The only reason they were last in their first non-elimination leg was because the final roadblock was a needle-in-a-haystack task. They were tied for first when they made it to that task and got passed by every other team.
Okay…
I was rooting for ‘The Boys’ and ‘Team Mom and Dad’.
‘The Boys’ didn’t win or get into the finals because they used the subway as their transportation instead of taking a cab and they also had bad luck with getting a cab driver that drove them to the wrong destination. After all the time wasted on these things, they just could not catch up.
‘Team Mom and Dad’ didn’t win the finals either, which I personally think was because Brooke and Scott reached the driving track first and they could start driving first. I would have preferred if the stops could be done at the same time. Another reason was they went to the wrong destination for the riddles bit.
However, after the race.
I just hope all the contestants had fun and Brooke and Scott spend their money wisely.
my top favorite season of tar is 8,15,17,and 25 and the reason is because of my top favorite team Adam and Bethany, Meghan and Cheyen, Nat and Kat, Brooke and Claire, Kym and Alli, Linz Family, and Weavers Family.
If you count Treasure Hunters and Expedition Impossible, the Geniuses are in the lower half for nearly being eliminated the first leg and surviving the penultimate leg literally by 3 seconds, whereas the Gypsies are easily number 1 for finishing 9 out of 10 legs first and only getting in 2nd in the one leg that they did due to a fluky injury.
Season 4 isn’t as bad as I use to think imo. The beginning stretch is slug fest with 5 straight legs in Europe but it gets better location wise with South Korea and Australia. It’s a breath of fresh air. I love Europe but it was overdone here.
R&C got better towards the end, but their behavior earlier in the season was terrible.

My favorite season of all time by far (way ahead of all other seasons) was season 7 which he ranks way below what it should be. I would agree that the family season was the worst. The only one that even comes close would be season 31 in my opinion. Outside of team fun I felt extremely bored with season 31 like it was totally unfair. The former Amazing Race teams seem to dominate it (boring) with a very disappointing outcome. The teams in seasons 3 and 29 I find forgettable, but still enjoy the race itself, but due to the extremely high ranking of one of the two worst seasons of all time in my opinion I had to dislike this video. I have watched all seasons of the Amazing Race at least 4 times all the way through with the exception of the family season (watched 1 time though) and season 31 (watched 2 times through). I am a huge fan of the Amazing Race. Best reality TV show out there in my opinion. Love the show! HIGHLY recommend it to everyone I come in contact with (especially season 7). anyway that’s my thoughts. Please don’t take offense. It is just my opinions as a very avid and huge Amazing Race fan.
The head shaving thing reminds me of the model couple: the woman chose to shave her head because her partner’s curly blonde hair was his »money maker’. I just remember that she ended up looking nice with short anyways lol
I don’t care what anybody says, I loved 24. I didn’t think some of the cast needed to return (Joey & Meghan and Caroline & Jennifer especially) but I loved Dave & Connor’s arc from 22 to this one, Jet & Cord and the Globetrotters are always a ton of fun, and even though I can’t stand them, the Twinnies’ meltdown on Leg 1 was absolutely hilarious. Unfinished Business is still the best All-Star season by a long shot, but this is also a very good one. It’s just my opinion, please don’t hate me.
Also, 11 is overrated. Fight me.
I have watched every season of the amazing race… And it blows my mind that people can remember details like this. I have a good memory.. But I couldn’t tell you anything I remember other than that one dude who yelled at his wife Victoria. What season was that?? Any.. Great show
My 4 favorite seasons are #1 & the 3 seasons that had the cowboys… They are by far my favorite team on this show… They have class & are a good team. I think they were on seasons 16, 18 & 22 if im not mistaken
Lol I loved when they were in Thailand and I was laughing when Brooke was grunting and moaning because she couldn’t ride the bike and then Scott said “wait she’s giving birth again” or something like that
Just watched the Azerbaijan leg from season 20. I would have to say that the strangest detour ever was the one where they had to scrape and scrub crude oil off of hairy men after the men had just taken an oil bath.
I don’t get it. Except for being rude to one another, contestants should expects themselves to be ready to do anything. It’s a million dollars! I’m scared of heights myself, but if I’m going on the race, I’ll face whatever height. And if I ran the race, I’d shave my head, even if I was a pageant contestant with thick, long hair. It’s a million dollars!
I definitely do feel bad for the one who was asked to shave her head like wtf!! First of all do you know how much time will it take for that hair to grow back?!! Plus there are many types of hairs that if you simply just cut it a bit too short than it usually is, let alone shave it all off, the hair eventually decides to never grow back and that is a true story i promise you! And second of all, it’s not like if she does this she will immediately get the million dollars?! There are still so many other teams who are also competing against them so she doesn’t know for sure that she’s getting the money! Imagine going through with that and then in the end you don’t win after all?!! Gosh money isn’t everything and especially for something like this like NO WAY! For guys it’s not that big of a deal cause they already have short hair so it’ll grow back quickly but that doesn’t apply to women unfortunately!
My favorite leg was from Season 2 when Danny and Oswald go shopping then hang out at a 5 star hotel while the other teams frantically race to the airport only to have Danny and Oswald win the leg anyway.
I think I would knock Rachel and Dave and Tammy and Victor down.
Tammy and Victor were VERY helped by the way the course was laid out, due to the fact they had a blatant advantage over everyone else with the amount that knowledge of Mandarin really helped them in the endgame.
Rachel and Dave’s hot mess of the leg where they did nothing would knock them down for me, ’cause I mean…they literally didn’t run a leg pretty much XD.
Also, TARC is a very…varying series. There are some seasons that are like TARAU Season 2 tier, and there are some seasons that are like Amazing Race 24 level.
If you want a really good season of TAR internationally, TARAU Season 2 is a really good one. The boot order on that season is WILD.
Season 25 & 26 had 4 teams racing in the final leg due to The Save because they have to determine non-elimination legs in advance. In S26 the Save was offered by completing both of the Detour options in Leg 3.
WHY do they pick such undeserving, nasty, whiny, people like BROOKE from Season 29?
It’s REPULSIVE that a person so despicable would be given a chance to win $1,000,000.
I have lost so much respect for The Amazing Race and CBS because they have allowed an absolute cunt like BROOKE to be on the show.
This season was the worst so far, everybody played dirty, they all used the u turn for the benefit of themselves,still sad for seth olive, liz and michael, floyd and becca, brooke is SO BROOKEN, SUCH A CRYBABY and annoying…
Sweet! An Amazing Race ranking video! I hope it gets more views bc I definitely feel as though this show has been drifting these past few years and I feel like it needs more love. Hopefully, the epicness that was s31 will help bring it back up a notch.

Gosh he was the funniest partner. I think they won bec of him pushing. Ya! She was the most annoying. I’m amazed how he dealt with her. I cant believe she was a criminal attorney or something. She complained so much. I felt bad for other teams when they helped her with the ladle she promised one of the team that she wont U turn them. Then they did without even thinking.
I think statistically yes Dave and Connor are one of the best teams of all time, but the way they ran the race and their defeatist attitude when something didn’t go their way and the fact that they made «friends» to assure they didn’t get U-Turned would’ve had them lower on my list. Agree with everything else.
Uh…the fast forward didn’t guarantee they won the million though…..so she wasn’t throwing away a million. She was willing to place further back in a specific leg of the race. And in many many instances, the teams get bunched up together again anyway
The seasons with Jet & Cord are some of the best because they were so good at the challenges… No teams b4 them or after them dominated challenges like they did… They could come to a challenge as the last place team & leave as the first place team & I always respected how they would hustle while the other teams are being lazy & whiny.
What about Joe & Bill causing the ruckus at the airport in Season 1? That was one of the dirtiest things I’ve seen a team do, right up there with Natalie & Nadiya stealing James & Abba’s money and Eric & Jeremy canceling other teams’ taxis.
