can any one tell me why i keep getting a black screen of death when i tell it to start fedora 17. every thing works fine till i tell it start then it dies. no nothing cant do anything other than kill the vm and try again
Мне очень нравится данная ОС! Установил на домашнем ноутбуке, пользуюсь без проблем, после того как Ubuntu 16.10 несовместима с видеокартой оказалась!Обновляется просто и быстро, для того чтобы установить с флешки есть на офф сайте специальное ПО которое и отформатирует и все сделает для размещения установки системы! Ядро на данный момент 4.9 на сколько я знаю последнее, софта хватает, а чтобы установить JDK мне не потребовалось делать кучу действий, я просто скачал rpm файл, запустил через центр установки и нажал установить.! Все достаточно просто и понятно!
thanx alot for such an explanitory video and i’ve downloaded fedora 17 on 29 th may at release date but it does’t seems to boot so…… tell me which iso is best for an intel dual core desktop having an 2 gb rab and what’s the diff b/w i686 and i386….. thank you tanya
I’ve got virtualbox up and running…and have fedora17 64bit saved to my downloads….but when I try installing it on virtualbox I keep getting the same problem at the very end. Once its installed and it prompts me to reboot a window pops up and says a program on windows has forced the system to stop unexpectedly and will shut down. When I hit ok the window closes and the virtual box manager shows that fedora is aborted….I’ve tried already 3 times…what am I doing wrong?
2 Go RAM Intel pentium dual cpu.I give her 1024 Mo for the first time and I change it to 768 Mo I don’t know what’s fedora version (I downloaded from the offical site) Fedora-18-x86_64-Live-Desktop.iso

Now you need is PC-BSD, Mac OS, and Windows 8. Really you can install all of the desktop environment in any Linux distribution. And yes a hacked copy of Mac OS can be installed in a Virtual Machine. And you can download Windows 8 for free for only a short time.
Thanks for the presentation. After many many years with OS from Redmond I thought to try something different. Yesterday installed Mandriva 2011 and tried to install Fedora 17, both on VirtualBox VM. But unfortunately with Fedora didn’t go well, after nstallation from DVD ISO file I could not just launch it, I was asked to install it all over again. Today downloaded CD Live ISO, then it went well. Now it’s working! Good luck with the other Linux-challenges!
hello SysAdmGirl.. i have a problem.. i dont know which OS is better with KDE,, is it Opensuse, or Fedora.. i used opensuse, its awesome, but isnt good with some APPS, and some Games, which i used to play it via wine in ubuntu!!! my other question, is it okej if i use KDE with ubuntu?!.. or is that gonna crash my pc?!.. thanks alot.
