I played competitive Mario Kart in clans from 2009-2013 and put 1000s of hours into the game over the past decade. I don’t think there is any debate to be had on what’s an S-Tier vehicle but I’m interested to see what people say who have invested a lot of time into the game on the other vehicle categories..

I have a question. I really wanted to get wiimmfi on my wii but I’m nervous to do it. 1 I’m nervous it will break my console and will remove my work on Mario kart wii. 2 I’ve heard you can get blacklisted from Nintendo and I don’t want that to happen. (it also king of looks sketchy when u r trying to boot it up). So can somebody please tell me if I should do and maybe explain some of the things that I’m worried will happen? Thanks!
when I was doing all the grand prix in the game, I got to the hard 150cc and mirror ones and got annoyed that I was constantly being hit by shells and being shocked and getting blue shelled so I switched to the quacker because it has amazing acceleration and I used that to beat the hardest cups
Can’t help but imagine more DK reps for a future Mario Kart since Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong, and Funky Kong are here together now. I would love to see Tiny Kong, Candy Kong, Lanky Kong, Cranky Kong, King K Rool, and Kritter as well. Maybe even Donkey Kong Jr or Baby Donkey Kong too, but that might not be the case for those youngsters. ��

To be fair, that character might have inspired me to have love towards cute fictional girls like Koishi Komeiji.
MK8 Deluxe looks beautiful, but it honestly just doesn’t hit the same as this. Kart selections are crud, and they put minimal effort into design of them for each character. Also who needs like twenty-five frickin Bowser Jr rip offs?

There would be so many original Mario characters like Kamek, Pauline or E.Gadd, maybe even the likes of Boom Boom or characters from SMB2 etc, yet they decide to include baby versions of characters that never made an actual appeareance outside of Mario Kart. Why Nintendo?
I’ve been playing a lot of Asphalt 9 lately and this is a common multiplayer game mode there
I think more racing games should have this feature as an option, no clashing, no bumps, just a pure test of skill and good lines
Man, I hope we eventually get some wario love, characters like Captain Syrup, Mona, Wanda, Jimmy T, Rudy, Arewo (sp?), Shokora, Merelda, Ashley, Kat and Ana, Mad/Meido(u), Aqualea, Sarissa, and Count Cannoli, just showing wario and his countless sub series
PSA: it doesnt matter what you play, you can always succeed in this game, kart world records are only a few seconds behind bikes at most, on rainbow road its faster. In mario kart and especially wii the item play will more than mitigate that time, play well and youll do good. The only thing that like really matters is picking the right karts, if youre playing medium go wild wing, if youre playing heavy go honeycoupe or flame flyer, if youre play light go mini beast. Every character is viable too, the change they have on your stats is way less than youd think. Play whatever you want, everything is viable, even if some people try their absolute hardest to tell you that you cant.

THIS IS SO UNFAIR THE 3DS HAS LIKE NO CHARECTERS, WE HAVE FRICKING HONEY QUEEN AND NO WALUIGI OR BOWSER JR OR BABY MARIO OR BABY LUIGI OR BABY PEACH OR BABY DAISY AND WE DONT HAVE THE DRY BOWSER AND WE DONT HAVE THE MOTOR CYCLE AND WE DONT HAVE DONKEY KONG JR AND WE DONT HAVE THE SPECIAL DONKEY KONG AND WE ARE MISSING A BUNCH OF KARTS.
I love how Mario kart wii had really creative vehicles like a blooper and baby seat a cheep cheep a bullet bill a toy duck and so one the newer games didn’t really have creative vehicles like Mario kart wii did
As somebody who used (I now use mainly bikes, but still use karts a lot) I can say the booster seat is the best kart. Ok it has terrible stats and it’s not good, but looking past it and actually driving it it’s easily a C tier at most. And before you say “but that means it’s the best” no it’s not troy was just being a little harsh but when you even out the odds then you can see that the booster seat is actually decent.
Are all these characters available in the 2008 version? I only see 2 boxes of question marks left when I have to choose a character, so I thought I only missed 2. But in this video there are many more characters, also I do not have Mii B. Can someone please explain to me?
Why not make a mode where every character has the extra speed stat, so you could pick any other characters in the heavy/medium class, and not just daisy and funky kong?
Essentially, the online races would be less boring, with more than 2 characters viable to race with
off-topic, but i think rosalina is better than funky. funky has a 6 speed increase, while rosalina has 4. However, rosalina is a mix of funky and dry bowser. Along with still having a speed increase, she also has the mini turbo increase.
Funky:
Speed: +6
Off-road: +4
Rosalina:
Speed: +4
Handling: +4
Mini-turbo: +4
Off-road won’t be there much, as not only does the flame runner have mediocre offroad, but off-road tracks like sherbet land aren’t picked even a moderate amount online. Even if you go off-road on other tracks, you would with a mushroom, which just turns the off-road into on-road for a short time. Rosalina still has that speed stat, but she also has more relevant stat increases, according to the stats tier list Troy showed first. While online, you’re either just going, wheelie-ing or drifting for a mini-turbo. If anything, the main person everyone picks online should be Rosalina.
Shoot, this was long. It’s a whole unintended lecture!
Edit: I got some numbers wrong, but the concept was right. I multiplied all the numbers by 2. While it’s entirely the same concept-wise, I used IGN’s stats report, and they replaced 3’s with 6, 4’s with 8, etc.
Half of you are STILL bitchpicking about the roster and demanding for palette swaps over palette swaps (Dry Bowser, Dry Bones, etc.) Seriously, roster doesn’t affect the gameplay in any way possible. So what if they left out a few vets, they’re trying to give other characters in the Mario franchise a chance in the spotlight. Stop whining and enjoy the game already, I don’t even have the game yet and when I get it, I’ve got a lot of lost ground to make up. Once I’ve mastered the tracks, YOUR ASSES WILL BE MINE!!!

Fact: I saw this gamemode in May 14th 2019 in my dream, 3 shrooms each player + transparent character/name and directly contacted Mr.bean for this to happen then said that it had a chance to appear in the future, now I can die in peace
The Mach Bike, Bowser Bike, Bullet Bike and Magikruiser are all great, but I do also really like the Cheep Charger because of its high acceleration, and its outside drift makes it better than the quacker if you can’t manage inside drift.
This episode probably required the most concentration. (especially having to worry about the 9 other ghost Funky Kong’s continually overlapping my character)
There is a high chance this game mode will make it into CTGP in the future because of its popularity!
When I play this on my Wii U, I can’t play sherbert land because somethings probably scratched, but on my Wii, the track works just fine. BTW, I hope to beat the game, and possibly mariokart 7, because I already beat 8 deluxe.

I like how they had to make gold Peach pink just to remind you that she’s a princess XD I honestly thought that having a golden version of Princess Peach was a very clever parallel to Metal Mario, but then, they made her pink gold. Like, what the heck is pink gold? If you’re gonna do that, then just make her Crystal Peach and base her color scheme around rose quartz or something lol

the problem with these «secret» characters is they appear in the grand prix even when you haven’t unlocked them. I much preferred the challenge of «beat 150cc special cup to unlock..» to get characters and karts.
It kinda sucks how you can unlock all of the characters just by playing 50cc. cuz i like to beat all the 50cc cups before playing 100cc and so on. Meaning unlocking everyone will be way to easy this time around, oh well:(
My favorite Mario Kart of them all. DS and Double Dash are my runner ups and these three are my childhood. I’m very thankful I still have all my old Nintendo consoles and games. My go to combinations are Yoshi Mach Bike, Bowser/ Dry Bowser Flame Runner, Wario Flame Runner, King Boo Flame Flyer, Dry Bones Bullet Bike, and Donkey Kong Jetsetter.
