I don’t know anything about this game, and I don’t understand most of the mechanics of this game, but your approach to commentary and editing is impeccable. Being a legit f2p is a hard grind. I’ve been f2p since I started playing years ago. Never have evolved. Mr. OldSchool just helped a lot of people in crazy ways. Even 1 mil can help us f2p in such a large way

I had a similar thing happen to me. Few months ago with the free twitch prime membership I tried to get back onto my account and found a macroing ban. I got the account back and it was doing blast furnace apparently. I suddenly had 90 mining (was maybe 40-50ish before?) and about 2 mil of runite + addy ore in the bank. Not a crazy amount, but still fun. My account barely had anything on it before so it was a profit 😉

I remember getting 1 cooked lobster and 1 mithril chainbody back in late 2003. Was hyped messaging the mate that brought me to the game about what I had received. He sold the chainbody and bought an addy skirt in al kharid for me. No clue why because I couldnt even wield it yet

My main acc got hacked when I quit rs for about a year and i logged into green dragons with 70 in my melee skills and a few hundred green dragon hides. Too bad it was banned pretty quickly because I only had like low 60s in my melee skills. Well, I guess that it’s good it was banned early on

Not exactly a «Gridlock/Ironman» series when you just feed yourself with PVP kills, and boost off of gear that you haven’t farmed for. 3H 11M is roughly where im talking about. I ignored all the PVP kills at the start, but at that stages its just stupid and makes everything seem less legit.

It’s not much, but when I first started playing I was busy slaughtering cows for their skin and had a skills necklace on. Someone running past the field stopped, ran back and gave me an amulet of glory and some decent advice. Goes to show that not all the rs community is toxic.

in 2010/11 i paid 2b in rs2 and i was in skype with the guy and a bot stole the name between the second i clicked change name. hurt so bad lol the guy gave me 1b back but i mainly wanted the username lol

Yeah I’ve been hoping to get a name for about five years now. Very disheartening to hear that there are bots constantly checking for these names. I check every single day I log in, which is no competition for something that can check 24 times a day.

I feel the same way about this as I do people saving a chipmunk from a snake. is it nice to see? Yes. Is it beneficial for the ecosystem? Idk, but I know that chipmunks gotta learn to fend for himself or it’s gonna lose its gp to a money doubler.

I do this a lot in F2P and in Members.
Mainly with bonds though. I buy like 15-20 and just make some games out of it.

Like a quick hide and seek, first one to find me will get a bond or something.

I’m usually a member player but I gave all my stuff away and quit playing for a few months due to life and now I’m back on f2p building my way to a bond. I didn’t realize how hard it is to grind gp on f2p.

I remember when I was starting old school in 2014. I was killing rock crabs and some guy just traded me a full rune set and some cash, it was amazing and got me motivated. I barely had any gp at the time.

Had my F2P Str pure main hacked since rs3 main couldn’t be transferred when OSRS was released. I left the game for a month and got 24M inventory when account was recovered. 1 DEF intact and all skills were not leveled up.

Just happened to my wife. We are currently trying to get her account unbanned but apparently, the act was so «egregious» that she should not be allowed to submit for it to be overturned. I reached out to Jagex on Twitter but don’t know what else we can do.

I was gone for 2 months and came back and was in the wildneress, i had been hacked and used as a green dragon bot, went from 70 str to 93 str but the bot had just muled, only 100k of my 50m worth left in my bank

This actually happened to me on my WoW account back around 2009. My account was hacked and then used for botting for around 4 days before I was able to recover it. I lost those 4 days of playing on that account but I was playing on my 2nd account while trying to get my main account back. It was weird being on my 2nd account and seeing my main logged in and playing. Once it was finally recovered I actually ended up making money because of the botting the person did. They basically sold everything I had and just farmed a ton of gathering materials like ores and herbs. Once I got the account back a GM restored all of my stuff that had been sold or destroyed, and left all the ore and herbs instead of taking them. I think I made around 10k gold from it, which was a decent amount of money back then. It was shortly after the launch of a new expansion so those materials were in pretty high demand which is how I made so much gold out of it.

With that chunk of essentially free gold I was able to flip some high value items and turn it into even more gold which was awesome. I miss those days. Now the game has gone to shit lol.

Aww man this happened to me literally just a few days ago! I was so apprehensive and concerned that about a stranger giving me large amounts of money that, as soon as he gave me the money, I logged out.for the rest of the day�� looking back now in retrospect, I feel like a dick!��

this is why i gave up on rare names and trying to get more, they would be sniped and hoarded by a few name snipers. it’s been a trouble almost since display name releases came out, it’s a shame. but it seems to have gotten even 10 times worse.

The chance to roll the mimic 3rd age table on the mimic is 1 in 228 for masters and 1 in 250 for elites. So no matter how rare it seems at first, its probably a bit more common than you might think. The combo with the pet though, legendary! Gz my man thats a nice chunck of cash!

I got hacked 2 years ago logged in the first time last month. account was used for botting pyramid plunder as I had 16m thieving xp started at lvl 60. Also went from 60 str to 83 strength. Checked the ge log and PLENTY sceptres sold and traded.

Quit the game a while back and after a few years I decided to go back on and check the account. Found out it had been used for botting wyverns, and it had wyvern drops and supplies for about 40m worth in the bank, a lot more then what I had when I quit. Can’t remember what combat level I was, but I went from around 90-100 to near max as well.

I got a mining pet from mining volcanic sulphur getting favour on kourend. I got a screenshot ill send you for next months video. Drop rate is 1/710k…. I also died with it before i insured it because i wen afk and the sulphur cloud killed me…. ���������� I’ll email you that picture tho ��

I just recently got my account back last week. Logging into RS3, everything is the same. I never played when osrs was released again. Logged into osrs, most skills were lvl 1, but I had lvl 95 woodcutting.

I had a low-level account which I didn’t play on for a little over 2 weeks because I was on a holiday. I came back from holiday and wanted to log in to my account to get the notification that the account was in use. After a recovery process I log in to the account and suddenly I had 72 crafting (I had lvl 1 crafting originally) and 2 mil worth of flax and bow strings in the bank. Also, whoever hacked me had activated a bond for my account (my membership ran out when I left on holiday). So I gained 70+ crafting levels, 2 mil GP and 2 weeks of membership from being hacked. Needless to say, I wasn’t exactly upset about it.

I just sat and watched the entirety of the video such a good watch fam. Glad to watch the journey dude keep up the great content love your videos got me wanting to play runescape some more lol. But, nothing beat hearing slayer say «completed» that honestly made me wheez lol.

I assume you’re an A&P mechanic. I have been an airframe tech for 4 years. Sorry to hear you lost your job because of the rona, but the need for acft mechanics are still high so just keep applying and keep your head up man..

I remember back when my account was hacked back when RS3 first dropped. Unfortunately I wasn’t in the country at the time and was gone for around 3-4 months. I came back, and a friend wanted to get back into the game, so I tried to log in. No success. I recovered the account, thinking I had just forgotten my password. strange thing is; no bans. No offenses. Nothing…. Until I logged in. Most of my skills had been taken from mids to low 40s to high 80s and mid 90s. There was over 200k flax in the bank, well over 100k cooked lobster and 90k some raw lobsters, and a metric ton of gear, with a lot of it being broken Barrows sets. Obviously it was used as some sort of either banker or a PK bot, I’m not sure which yet. They had also done Every. Single. Quest. Saved me a lot of time. In all I think the amount of gear on the account had made it worth around 900million gold, give or take 100-200 depending on item prices at the time.

while not that extreme back in like 2007 my account was hacked for like 3 months and went from a melee pure to a range tank with like 40 range. had really shitty gear so i think if it was botting it was prob just training on cows or something.

This happened with me too, logged back in and even took the time to put a authenticator on it, so took it off logged in and a lot of Zulrah Kc + Barrows Kc and nearly 99 magic 99 range lmao, but they keep forcing the passwords etc.

Same thing happened to me. was a long time rs3 player and had quit for about 2 years. Note that OSRS was released during this time. Eventually I came back to give osrs a try and had to reset my pass because after 2 years who knows what i used back then, anyways after never touching osrs i was greeted with and acc with 16m fishing exp.

Hot advertisement Framed. I was actually using Chrome but then swapped to Opera after it kept fucking up on me. I’m much more interested in the functions (RAM, CPU control etc.) and alternative news source from the mainstream murdoch media.

First time I got full rune I was like 14 walking around the wilderness an this guy walked up an asked me if I wanted to fight so I did I think he let me kill him but I got full rune that I could not use hahaha

It didn’t even hit me that I could have been hacked. Last year I returned to the game to find my account was perma-banned. At the time, I was using OSBuddy, so I thought that was where it came from. I tried to appeal, but never got a response. Since then, I made a new account. After watching this vid, I’m beginning to understand what truly happened to my account. Back to the appeal board to see about getting my account back.
