  • @ 11:05 or level Wishmur up to lvl 41 to learn Synchronoise, seeing how you need to get it to 40 anyway to evolve it to explode, you are better off stalling it to 41 and then let it evolve..
Synchronoise to deal damage to all pokemon that shares type with the user, and as seviper isn’t a normal type it won’t take damage.

  • Megas were a really cool addition but they also kind of mark the point where pokemon games started to decline, at least in my eyes. They started to focus more on gimmicks, and I wouldn’t have been mad with it except for the fact that they just scrap that gimmick for the next flavor of the week (ok at least Sun/Moon kept megas) and it ruins the whole point of speculating «ooh maybe when they remake gen 4 the starters will get megas» or something like that, since it just gets replaced with some other really similar mechanic in next gen.

  • I’ve been trying to find other people to add as friends since I’m looking for more safaris to shiny hunt in, but it’s difficult when everyone’s moved to Sword and Shield!
I don’t have a Switch so I keep playing ORAS and Pokemon Y

If anyone would like to add my FC, it’s 3625 8857 -5751
Reply here with yours and I can add you too! <3

  • I bought the X&Y guidebook back in 2013 and on the daycare route page I noticed a strange navy blue blob on the map screenshot that isn’t visible to the player in game an I’ve always wondered what it was and I still do. Pls make a part 2 also showing us the Rhydon race track near the first gym and the power plants.

  • I just think it’s stupid you can’t trade, it would be so cool if you just completed it as much as possible with trades, i think it would make it more satisfying, it’s not cheating as you need to trade it to another game and then back to complete it, you still caught the Pokémon? ‍♂️

  • Ribbit, Ribbit ( Some Mega Evolution Pokédex entries:
Mega Alakazam, Pokémon Sun: «As a result of Mega Evolution, its power has been entirely converted into psychic energy, and it has lost all strength in its muscles.»
Mega Gengar, Pokémon Ultrasun: «It tries to take the lives of anyone and everyone. It will even try to curse the Trainer who is its master!»
Mega Kangaskhan, Pokémon Ultrasun: «The explosive energy the child is bathed in causes temporary growth. The mother is beside herself with worry about it.»
Mega Gyarados, Pokémon Sun: «Mega Evolution also affects its brain, leaving no other function except its destructive instinct to burn everything to cinders.»
Mega Aerodactyl, Pokémon Moon: «When it Mega Evolves, it becomes more vicious than ever before. Some say that’s because its excess of power is causing it pain.»
Mega Scizor, Pokemon Ultrasun: «It stores the excess energy from Mega Evolution, so after a long time passes, its body starts to melt.»
Mega Heracross, Pokémon Ultramoon: «A tremendous influx of energy builds it up, but when Mega Evolution ends, Heracross is bothered by terrible soreness in its muscles.»
Mega Houndoom, Pokémon Ultrasun: «Its red claws and the tips of its tail are melting from high internal temperatures that are painful to Houndoom itself.»
Mega Tyranitar, Pokémon Ultrasun: «Due to the colossal power poured into it, this Pokémon’s back split right open. Its destructive instincts are the only thing keeping it moving.»
Mega Mawile, Pokémon Ultramoon: «It has an extremely vicious disposition. It grips prey in its two sets of jaws and tears them apart with raw power.»
Mega Manectric, Pokémon Ultrasun: «Mega Evolution fills its body with a tremendous amount of electricity, but it’s too much for Manectric to fully control.»
Mega Banette, Pokemon Ultrasun: «Extraordinary energy amplifies its cursing power to such an extent that it can’t help but curse its own Trainer.»
Mega Absol, Pokémon Ultrasun: «Normally, it dislikes fighting, so it really hates changing to this form for battles.»
Mega Garchomp, Pokémon Ultrasun: «Its arms and wings melted into something like scythes. Mad with rage, it rampages on and on.»
Mega Lucario, Pokémon Ultrasun: «Bathed in explosive energy, its combative instincts have awakened. For its enemies, it has no mercy whatsoever.»
Mega Sableye, Pokémon Ultrasun: «Bathed in the energy of Mega Evolution, the gemstone on its chest expands, rips through its skin, and falls out.»
Mega Sharpedo, Pokémon Ultrasun: «The yellow patterns it bears are old scars. The energy from Mega Evolution runs through them, causing it sharp pain and suffering.»
Mega Glalie, Pokémon Sun: «The excess energy from Mega Evolution spilled over from its mouth, breaking its jaw. It spews endless blizzards.»
Mega Salamence, Pokémon Moon: «Mega Evolution fuels its brutality, and it may even turn on the Trainer who raised it. It’s been dubbed «the blood-soaked crescent.»»
Mega Metagross, Pokémon Ultrasun: «Its intellect surpasses its previous level, resulting in battles so cruel, they’ll make you want to cover your eyes.»
Are you sure you want Mega Evolution to return?) Ribbit

  • Fun fact about battle backgrounds: Some of those 2D objects in battles can actually be interacted with. If you use a specific move in battle and defeat the Pokemon, the object will break and you will receive an item. These items and the moves required depend on the type of object. For example, Berry trees require the use of moves like Air Cutter and rocks need Rock Smash. This is never actually hinted at during the game, so I never knew about this feature until I looked it up on Bulbapedia. These background objects only appear in X and Y, and are one of the few sources of items like Luminous Moss.

  • Randomly checked my Y game and saw that battle animations were better (slightly) for example my lucario using close combat in Y will at least punch the Pokémon while in SWSH, he just has his hands down when using the move, my character in Y had a better appearance and clothing compared to SwSh where i feel is limited. It’s little details compared to bigger ones like Y having a bad post game that made me enjoy Y.

  • I played this game to completion and yet I remember like none of these areas, which is strange since this is the only pokemon game I struggle to remember despite it being one of the newer ones. That being said I remember the Gen 6 pokemon themselves just fine

  • 10:30 «4 Zangoose to 1 Seviper» can someone tell me why isn’t that Seviper dead?
Edit: Watches the Seviper get raped by them instead oh, nvm. Wait, They can do that in mid battle? Well that’s something, I’ve never been in a hoard battle even after completing the game.

  • I actually bought Pokemon Y and Ultra Sun earlier this year, and was kind of surprised that it was still easy to do Wonder Trades, find GTS trades, and other people to battle. It’s kind of nice since those games have such a different play style compared to Pokemon Sword and Shield with Mega Evolutions, more moves, and more usable Pokemon. I’ve really enjoyed all of them! Also picked up White 2 (for like $90 lol) but the online no longer works in that game since it was a DS title, not 3DS I guess. At least the Dream Radar still worked, so I was able to get the Therian genies.

  • Im mad late on this but everyone is sharing their teams. Since im still playing x and had to restart because my save data corrupted I had to restart but my team the second time is going to be:
    Delphox
    Blastoise
    Gogoat
    Tyrantrum/Meowstic
    Aegislash
    Goodra
Before i had to restart i had the same team except for delphox, blastoise, and tyrantrum. I had chesnaught, charizard, and aurorus instead to I decided to change them up

  • XY…used to be my most-loathed Pokémon game pair, honestly, due to how it lacked almost every single innovation Unova introduced and how limited the roster of new Pokémon is. Boring region, uninteresting characters, unneeded nerf to Steel and special moves, unfortunate but understandable nerf to weather Abilities…sigh. I used to utterly despise these two.

Then Let’s Go! and Sword/Shield came along and showed me just how much lower the series could, and did, sink. XY are masterpieces compared to these abominations.

  • I got out of gaming for a while, so I never got a 3DS until recently when I decided to get a used one and some second-hand pokemon games for it. I went to the friend safari subreddit, expecting to see an archive of old codes I could use, only to find that it is still pretty active, with a couple of posts a day.

  • I think ruby and sapphire is the easiest professor oak challenge. Because of one pokemon.

ZIGZAGOON!! because the pickup ability is broken. Like I was able to get a level 40 pokemon before the first gym in only 1.5 hours thanks to the zigzagoons ( the pokemon was wismur)

  • Man I started playing pokemon when ruby and sapphire came out. Those where my first games ruby and emerald then went back played FR and then got DS when HG SS came out played HG then got pearl and platinum when released played those then put pokemon down. For years… about a month ago I decided ya know what I’m in my 20s and I miss pokemon due to PG on mobile. So I bought a 3ds for myself and one for my fiance who never played pokemon and started us off on US and UM. She fell in love surprisingly and I fallback in love. In the past month or 2 we have beat US and UM OR AS then S and M now we are on X and Y and next we will play B and W and then BW2 so that we will have officially played all the new ones and we have already purchased them all including D P Platimun HG SS so I can replay them and she can experience them and then I will get us GB so we can play all the classics and I found out we can download all the GBC games on 3ds an they will come last. We are playing them backwards because I wanted to play the ones new to me and I knew my best shot of getting her into it was starting new and working back to the simple days
