Chances are you’ve escaped reality (at least temporarily) through “The Sims.” One of the first life simulation video games, it allows players to live vicariously through virtual characters—and it’s played by people the world over. Which is why the characters speak a fictional language that everyone can understand. It’s called Simlish, and there’s a method to the gibberish. We join voice actors Krizia Bajos and Scott Whyte at a recording studio inside Electronic Arts in Redwood, California, to see and hear how the language was created. If you have a really good ear for languages, you just might be able to say “How are you?” in Simlish by the end of this video.. SUBSCRIBE: https://goo.gl/vR6Acb. #TheSims #simlish #VideoGames.
Someone said that Simlish is a combination of Ukrainian and Filipino language. I’m Filipino but I didn’t even get a word they’re saying. Lol. I think Simlish is a combination of lots of languages around the globe. Just my thoughts
I wish there was a Youtuber whose videos I liked as well as James’. I wait with bated breath in between videos. I like ConflictNerd, but sometimes his voice grates on me a bit. I can’t listen to Deli for more than 15 minutes. I like Andrew Arcade, but he’s better streaming than on YT, a lot more laid back, but he doesn’t stream that often. I watched Markiplier play FireWatch, but he just kept going off on a tangent, and all I wanted to do was watch the game, so I stopped watching and found one without commentary. I watched PewDiePie’s Walking Dead: Michonne, Journey, Abzu and some others, but sometimes, his profanity is just too much. But he is nice on the eyes. And there are loads of others I’ve tried, but I keep coming back to James.

I’m not even sure what they actually say but I would love to know what one line is that my wife and I have made it «loose some weight for once» like that’s just what it sounds like for us but would love it if you could find out what they actually say
Gerbit = Llama Deesh = Think Yucky, yucky = This food is great (said by toddlers) Nash na poof? = Anyone home? Wee-bow = I do (during proposal) Uh, licht nar = (said when something is in the way) Green iguanas fluing in the sky? = Green iguanas flying in the sky?
I can’t even tell you how much it messes you up if you hear a song that you like for the first time, in simlish. I’m never going to be able to unhear «bonavu bow,» and to me that’s always going to be the real version.
My mom always makes this old man to start with and he always ends up whoohooing with Nancy landgraab, my dad makes this middle aged single man who is a detective, and I just make a big family and only care about like two sims
Creative, yes. I dislike it since they still have a very strong American accent. Almost feel like they are trying to mimic a foreign language. It just sounds so unnatural.
I actually find the Minions do a better job. Maybe Kenneth Copeland and his gang of prosperity preachers can do it more naturally when «speaking in tongue»… just saying.
Here is a playlist I made of artists recording their own songs in Simlish plus the voice actors for the Sims games. Check it out if you are interested.:D
