Hi. i cant seem to open more then one of same photo, different photos OK. im using Photoshop Elements 7. I did manage to duplicate picture 7 times, but have no delete x tab,but when i done the rest and view on browser, the image was normal no movement. i m just new to this, but the real thing i need is to use a photo of me and make moving hand or eyes open close is this possible with PSE7? or do i need another software? can this be done like on the link here, https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/fc/47/a8/fc47a8eb80eaa9c982fd98ef4e48464c.gif thank you!
Не в обиду но согласен что хреновое объяснение. Я вроде и не первый раз вижу Фотошоп, но всё равно было много непонятных терминов и названий. Мой совет автору: покажи этот курс среднему пользователю и пусть он расставит «маячки» где и что было непонятно, где слишком много инфы сразу сваливается и т.д. Если это промо видео то оно должно быть идеально «вылизанным». (А в целом видно, что автор очень солидный мастер в своём деле. Но надо ещё чтобы потенциальные покупатели курса не сомневались в том, что им легко получится усвоить материал). Спасибо за видео. Ты мастер!
I cant seem to make the file small enough no matter how much I resize? No info available on google either, would me having raw photos make a difference? I shoot raw and not in jpeg. I am experimenting with 3 layers but your measurements and any lower are too intense for photoshop

Outstanding tutorial thank you! One thing to note it’s important to get those proportions down to something like 640 pixels by whatever. So in the Save for Web dialog, keep the proportions constrained and enter that value AND THEN CLICK «APPLY» to save the file with a new name. Otherwise, Photoshop will choke on the file sizes.

This is the best tutorial I’ve seen on this subject thank you! I seem to be having trouble getting the images in my GIF to slow down. I tried changing the settings on the animation delay but it just cranks through the frames at the same blinding speed regardless. Any thoughts? I’m using Elements 9 on a MAC.
Do you have any idea how to change the second duration? I noticed yours was 290 for only a few frames. I had about 8 frames for 12 seconds, and no matter how many layers I take out or change the delay frame the seconds don’t change at all. I’m trying to make animated stickers and need to keep it to 4 seconds only.
Great tutorial. I have 8 layers that are 1000 x 1000. When I Save for Web and select GIF then Animate, I get the «Save for Web cannot animate this document because it is too big» error message. I’ve reduced the images to 100 x 100 (unusable), reduced the number of colors, etc. without curing the problem.
Any tips?

Hi Mr. Peirson, I just watched your video and as always you did an excellent presentation. I do have a question, well more like a request, I saw a video on making a Glass sphere with pictures using PSE 13 and was done on a MAC. I was wondering, I have a PC and using PSE 15 if you could make a tutorial on making the sphere with a PC, if it is even possible. I tried to do it, however a PC does not have the one option that a MAC has, and I can’t figure out how to do it. Any help would be appreciated. One more thing, I was going to get PSE 18 until I watched your video on it, I will wait until a later version come along. Thanks in advance for your assistance, Semper Fi, Joe W.

Добрый день. На шкале времени роказывает 5 секунд,я сохраняю и далее перевожу гиф в мп4, чтобы поделиться в инсте. Но продолжительность составляет 3 секунды. В чем проблема? как сохранить продолжительность в 5секунд?

Although generally I find animated gifs annoying, this was nonetheless a valuable tutorial. I learned a lot. Most always, when you open a new file, you set it at the default resolution of 300. In this one you set it at 72, exactly one-fifth the size, stating that 72 is the right resolution for the internet. Since the images I’m going to be creating are for an ebook, should I be setting the resolution at 72 for all files, given that I’m not planning on printing them? I want to keep the ebook file size as low as possible while retaining reasonably good quality. If I start with a file of 300 resolution, then save the jpeg for the web at medium or even low quality, will that roughly equate in size and quality to starting with a file of 72 resolution, then saving it at high or very high quality? Starting with a 300-resolution file, I don’t notice any apparent lessening of quality, even on lowquality setting, but I’m hesitant to do so, fearing that it may reproduce poorly on some people’s devices. As always, I would greatly appreciate your learned counsel.
My approach is a little different in that instead of working from Multiple images open in Protoshop Editor, I instead use the Organizer. The sequence for me was: 1Select the first image in organizer 2Copy to clipboard (CTRL-C) 3In the organizer go to file/new/image from clipboard (This first image basically starts the Editor project using the first image) 4Return to organizer (ALT-TAB) 5Select next image 6Copy to clipboard (CTRL-C) 7Return to Editor (ALT-TAB) 8Paste from clipboard (CTRL-V) (Repeat steps 4 to 8 for each image to add)
I had also forgotten to resize my images beforehand, but it was actually a good thing since it is much faster to only resize the project with All the images as layers since it only requires a single Resize.
Не могли бы вы мне помочь) Я сделала свою анимацию, сохранила её через web, формат gif. Когда открываю её то открывается просто изображение первого кадра… Я не понимаю где напортачила. Отправила другу в вк, тоже отправилось просто как изображение, хотя формат gif. Я чего то не до поняла, как её открыть то (и отправить кому либо) движущейся?(
Видео крутое… ничего не скажешь… и помогает для начинающих… вот только все забывают оповещать о том, что чем больше слоев вы хотите внедрить, тем больше памяти жрет Фотошоп… я сделал 54 слоя (для сравнения это всего лишь 5 секунд видео), но 250гигов на диске С хватило только для обработки слоев, но ни как не для сохранения видео. Подключил внешний диск с двумя терабайтами памяти и что же вы думаете? Правильно они исчезли так же не заметно как и на диске С, а далее… Память на диске С есть для работы, но сам Фотошоп начал выпендриваться и выдавать ошибку при попытке создать видео, при этом все остальные функции работают без проблем… Так что создавая видео предупреждайте обо всех проблемах, а не только о мелких решениях…
Все сделал, в конце нажимаю сохранить появляется сообщение, что содержаться символы, которые могут не отображаться на некоторых браузерах, я нажимаю ок и появляется сообщение, что произошла неизвестная ошибка и сохранение не возможно… Что это может быть?
I don’t think you could have explained it any better! I was wondering about the time and frames issues but you covered that well near the end. Again, in George fashion you took what could be complicated and made it into smaller bite size pieces!
@ bella,.. play a video e.g. and pause it (make sure that they play,forward etc buttons are gone in your screen), make a screenshot (just push that button on your keypad) go to paint (e.g.) it’s just in your startprograms, open it, choose paste( right away), and save as,… then go back to your paused video,..push play and pause again,..and repeat this circle,..until you have enough pics. then follow this guys usefull tutorial. good luck

In the past, I have used a video editing program to create an animation from a series of photos but they were saved as a video file.
