Kay Parris Magnolia produces creamy white fragrant flowers in May. This is a great plant to use as a screening plant due to its dense foliage.
Kay Parris Magnolia is an evergreen tree with a distinctive and refined pyramidal form. Its relatively coarse texture can be used to stand it apart from other landscape plants with finer foliage. This is a relatively low maintenance tree, and should only be pruned after flowering to avoid removing any of the current season’s flowers. Magnolia ‘Kay Parris’ is a robust, compact, free-branching evergreen tree with glossy deep green, wavy-edged leathery, oblong-elliptic leaves, a rich rusty-brown beneath.
Plentiful, highly fragrant, large cup-shaped creamy-white flowers are produced from summer to autumn.
