  • I pierce my own nose and i went to get sum nose rings bc i just had a simple hoop. But i chose to get a corkscrew nose stud and i could not get it in. I pierced my nose like 4 times again because i thought it was too tight. But i still havent got it in and it is a new piercing so any more tips?

  • Hi so here’s a suggestion for anyone struggling: put a normal earring in your nose and put a plaster over it so the hole doesn’t close up and get to your piercers ASAP! Also what worked for me I put the earring in distracted myself for about an hour and let myself calm down then went and tried again and it worked!

  • I’ve had mine for three months and I went to the beach after two weeks of getting it done and didn’t ave any issues. If anything, the salt water will help it, not hurt it. If you’re really really concerned, just dont go underwater. Or get it pierced with a clear one, if that’s an option…

  • Heyyy greatt video! I got mines done three days ago n like the stud I noticed it seemed like loose n wobbly but I jus didn’t touch it eventually it jus fell out I couldn’t put it bak in and took it completely out im scared to put it bak in bc it’s not even healed yet should I wait till it’s completely healed again n re pierce it or jus put it bak in

  • this just SAVED! MY! ASS! hahah thank you so much!

for all the people struggling i was trying to put in back in and i put the end in and twisted it until it was vertically parallel to the piercing hole and then pushed down on the jewel piece and it slid back in! hope this helps

  • Thank you! This has been really helpful to me, I had no clue wether I should get a 5/16″ or a 3/8″ but now I do. I’m still unsure about what size I should order it. Is there any way to figure out what’s the right size? I think 20G is good, but I’m not sure if it’s too thick or not. I have to order it online because I can’t get it anywhere in here.

  • For those looking how to put it in the «right » way..
I used a stud that’s just a straight bar and put it in
Then I took the hoop and pushed it in where the stud was coming out on the inside of my nose and gently pulled the stud out while feeding the hoop through

This sounds super confusing but basically I used a straight stud as a guidance for the hoop to go in since it’s hard to see the hole inside your nose and you have to feed a hoop through the inside first

  • I struggled with putting «C» shaped nose hoops in too. It took me forever the first time but I learned a trick that now makes it easier. First it would help to use tea tree oil to lubricant the ring and hole, then take the ring and place it in your nostril so that the dot of the ring lines up with the top/outside part of your piercing; the next step is easy! All you do is feed the ring through the inside and it should just glide right in! Hope you understand this and hope it helps!

  • Lol she said in the video that she knew I was backwards, u guess don’t need to keep telling her so & if u guys know so much why u watching a how to video? Lmaooooo. Anywayyyys, I had the same issue trying to put it in the correct way, try tweezers hun, they helped me grip it right sway & find the hole.

  • i turn on my cellphone’s lantern en put the cellphone on the table, then i put a tiny mirror over my cellphone so i can see the inside of my nose and when im taking out the nose stud i just put the ring following the same direction and voilà! idk ifu understand, i dont speak english perfectly, but if u want i can do a tutorial (even though i dont do videos)

  • bless u!! I finished 6 months of a piercing a few days ago and decided to change it my own and put a ring and I did for a few days… removing wasn’t hard but i panicked while putting the screw back bc the ring was affecting some stuff.. but this helped so much thank you xx

  • hey Bella how are ya.. I have a question… today I bought a nose hoop w/a gem on it… it’s NOT like the one in the video where there’s a stopper, the gem isn’t in the middle, it’s like offset (if ya know what I mean) lol… I’m trying to figure out HOW TO WEAR IT, because it does pinch shut or anything… Thanx Again

  • Thanks for your video. I have a couple different styles of rings and they really seem difficult to put in. I have a little but larger or thicker cartilage and rings can be buggers. However, I like that you simply put it in the way you do and are fine with it. It seems easier to put the rings in the way you showed. Ty!

  • Lol that is so funny I did the same thing putting it from the bottom is fucking impossible so I left in in like how you had it so I won’t keep messing with it because it will get sore or whatever. But longs I have my bottom open that’s all I care about

  • I did it right the first time then i changed back to stud and when i tried to put it back it started to bleed a lot,so after trying for an hour to put it the right was I said fuck it and put it the left way,I’m a just say it’s a new trend.

  • This is by far the most helpful video on this topic. An additional tip that SAVED MY LIFE is to put a finger from your free hand in your nose so you can feel when the metal has gone through the hole and the direction it’s going. It really helps to avoid irritating the hole as well as feeling the direction of the turn affects the metal on the inside of those nose!

  • For anyone who is struggling, you need to get yourself a magnifying mirror and a light. I struggled for probably an hour without those things until I finally gave up. Went out and bought myself a magnifying mirror and shone a light up my nose to find the hole and it made all the difference in the world! Got it in in seconds!!

  • For school I have to wear a retainer and its super small. Yesterday I received a nose hoop that is 18 gauge but it looks huge in comparison to the retainer how will I put it in? Will it still go in the hole cause I was originally pierced with 18 gauge.

  • I feel like my nose ring is pierced around the same place yours is…I didn’t want it too close to the end of my nose. This made me think I would need to order a hoop with a larger diameter. WRONG CAUSE IT WAS TOO BIG and didn’t wrap all around my nose!! Just looked dumb lol so now I know not to get 3/8 in (10mm) and to maybe get the smaller one you used. Ughhhhh

  • I was able to insert my hoop from the inside out for the first time yesterday. Try getting an 18 gauge taper (assuming you wear 18 gauge jewelry). I put the taper in my nose so I could see the approximate location of the hole on the inside. Then I was able to insert it on the first try.

Give this method a try. Before this I had tried multiple times to no avail.

  • I’ve been planning on getting my nose done this whole summer but things have come up. I was supposed to get it this week but I’m going to the beach next week and my mom said the beach water causes issues. And when I come back I have a week before school starts and I have to have a clear one in and it’s too early to change. I don’t know what to do! Anything I can do to prevent it getting infected at the beach?
