Noticeable differences include the graphics and interface, Pokémon abilities, and running shoes that allow the player to move around much faster in the overworld before getting the bike..

Very nice, sub 2! Really happy with that time, considering how bullshit the end of the game is, and I got insanely good luck there. Some minutes could still be saved at the front end (Winona in particular) but overall a good time.

Okay, as per usual I’ll give a brief description of how to get each legendary. Starting with the Regis.
Before you can encounter the Regi’s, you must first Surf west of Pacificlog Town with a Relicanth and a Wailord in your party, as well as something with Dig. Continue hugging the bottom of the water way until you end up over top of a Dive spot, Dive down and enter into a large cave. Read the braille on the back wall and use Dig, this will open the cave where you’ll enter into a smaller cave. In here, switch Wailord to your first slot, and Relicanth to your last and read the braille. This will cause the Regi Caves to open..
The first one I enter is Regice’s cave. Fly to Dewford Town and Surf from the northern beach and go west, then continue north until you find a long island, go behind this island and you’ll find Regice’s cave. Once you enter, read the text, then walk around the entire cave along the edge going clockwise, and the cave will open. Regice will be inside and be at level 40 with the moves Curse, Icy Wing, Superpower, and Ancient power..
Regirock is next. Fly to Lavaridge town and go east heading for the desert. Go south in this desert until you see Regiock’s cave. Go inside, read the braille, then walk 2 steps to the left, and 2 down, then use Rock Smash. Regirock will be at level 40 with the moves Rock Throw, Curse, Superpower, and Ancient Power..
Registeel is next. It is located west of Lilicove City, on a small outcropping with its cave near the back. Once you enter, read the text, then walk into the center of the cave and use Flash. Registeel will also be at level 40 with the moves Metal Claw, Curse, Superpower, and Ancient Power..
Groundon and Kyogre are next. They are both catchable in the game, but are located in random areas. I will paste a link to the Serebii page where you can find the locations at the bottom of the description. But to summarize, Groudon will be in the Terra Cave. You can find out where by speaking to the professor at the weather institute. He will tell you he registered intense sunlight on one of the routes. Fly to that route, and enter the cave. Groudon will be at level 70 with the moves Fire Blast, Solar Beam, Rest, and Fissure. Kyogre is available the same way. Talk to the weather institute owner and he will tell you there is heavy rainfall on one of the routes. Fly there, and have a Pokemon with Dive in your team. Head to the Dive spot and you’ll enter into the Marine Cave. Kyogre will also be at level 70, and will have the moves Hydro Pump, Double-Edge, Rest, and Sheer Cold..

Next is Rayquaza. Whom you can actually capture before beating the Elite Four. Fly to Pacificlog Town and go east instead of west like you did for the Regi cave. Continue going east until you come across an odd rock formation. Enter into it and you’ll be at the base of the Sky Pillar. Work your way up the tower (you’ll need the Mach Bike to traverse it) and at the top will be Rayquaza. He’ll be at level 70 with the moves Rest, Extremepseed, Fly, and Outrage..
And finally we have the Eon Duo. Which one you find will be determined after you beat the Elite Four and talk to your mom. She’ll direct you to the TV, and then ask if the Pokemon explained on the program was Blue or Red. Blue for Latios, and Red for Latias. After that, whichever one you chose will be located at random areas in the wild. I tracked Latias down off screen because it took me well over 2 hours to find her. But it can take less then that if you’re lucky. Once you find one of them however, you can track them on the Pokedex by clicking the «area» button. Once you find it, I recommend using the Master Ball on it, or bringing something that can trap it with Mean Look, or a Wobbuffet. The Eon twins will both be at level 40, and if you chose Latios, his moveset will be Luster Purge, Protect, Refresh, and Psychic. if you chose Latias like I did, her moveset will be Refresh, Water Sport, Mist Ball, and Psychic..

Okay, listen to me. I love speedruns but just what the hell is your problem?
This is easily one of the worst runs out of the hundreds I’ve seen.
It was very long into this run before you explained anything useful. This is honestly some of the worst commentary I’ve seen in a speedrun.
If you aren’t going to tell us what you’re doing in an informative manner, how are we as the viewers supposed to feel involved enough to watch this run?
If we don’t feel like part of the experience, we aren’t going to enjoy the video.
There’s a reason runs with good, insightful commentary receive praise and that’s because that’s what people want out of a runner.
What’s the point of broadcasting if you have no idea how to appeal to your audience or even talk with them in an engaging manner? Those are the most basic of skills for a content creator.
I guess I’m just giving you too much credit. Clearly you don’t know much about this game as you seem unable to convey any information about it. I’m guessing you’re one of those peasants who refuses to be creative with running and just copies exactly what some other runner did but got luckier.
And I’m glad this is YouTube because you don’t have to reply but you have to acknowledge that someone has a problem with the awful way you run. I’m guessing a coward like you won’t respond which is good because you obviously need to spend your time practicing how to commentate.
You have made me disgusted and ashamed to be part of the speedrunning community.
You don’t deserve the pathetic amount of followers that you have.

Wouldn’t it be faster to play as the male trainer? it would barley save time, but I’m pretty sure that May is a shorter name than Brendan. I’m trying to say that I think it’s faster to play as Brendan cuz it shaves a few frames off the rival fights… right?
Im thinkin about not even capturing the legendary pokemon and just go to the battle frontier with own pokemon we been through too much too abamdon them for sum overpowered pokemon i didnt level up myself
This was the first game I’ve ever owned of pokemon… It was such a win for me cause my mom never allowed me to have one until I bought a gameboy for myself without telling her XD I remember that my first real crush captured Rayquaza for me with a pokeball and to me that was the most romantic thing in the world:’)
On the 2nd rival battle, may’s first pokemon is a wingull and not a slugma, so the x-attack strat doesn’t work since wingull just growls and lowers the attack stat. Why is the line-up different for me??
man i miss my gba but now i play an emulator and couldnt beat drake so i gave up and im just trying to catch legendaries, i forgot who else is before post game so could someone tell me who else i can get except for the regis
I’ve been thinking about getting the Emerald 386 rom, but seeing how bad this game is and seeing that the boss fights are ramped up quite a bit from vanilla, I’m a little scared. Help me find the courage to take the plunge.
I never used a walkthrough in pokemon emerald and did everything legit on my own. Ive played it for 3 years and roamed everywhere, completed the dex and even found steven accidentally. Funfact i beat him with 1 lvl 100 metagross only, that he gave me ����. I miss playing this game

did you know if you got the claw/root fossil the other one disappear but you can get the other one in the fossil maniac’s place and he said there was no fossil but there is the other fossil in the end

The only pokemon here which is worth to catch is Rayguaza. The others suck. Thats why i still love the 2 first generations of Poké. Mew Mewtwo Zapdos Moltress Articuno Lugia Hooh Celebi Raikou Entei Suicune
So I fell asleep watching this and when I woke up, it was and hour later, Undertale was booted up (It was on my Taskbar so I can started really quick), and the video was at about 1:43:00 or so. XD I wanted to see the cool sounding gliches anyways.

Does your internal battery have to be dry in order for the Mudkip RNG exploit to work? Tyrant was trying to explain it at GDQ but I didn’t really get it. I thought the game generated a new secret ID on each reset.
What’s the first song you played? i love it. Also, thanks for showing us where to find the stones! I tried to find out with Shazam (An app to find out what music it is, and you don’t know the name) but it didn’t recognize the song

Super pissed that they didn’t remake this. ORAS missed the mark with quite a bit.
Battling both villain teams, battle frontier, catching both Kyogre n Groudon.
ORAS felt too easy. Your rival helped too much. Just being gifted Latios/as took away the fun of chasing them down
My only complaints about this game are: cave of origin is meaningless, rivals still underused, the music of terra cave and marine cave (petalburg woods, really?), the new color of may and bredan (whyyyyyy), wallace being the champion, steven not having the champion theme and fighting steven in meteor falls (mosdeep cave when it is dry, would work better imo)
Just did a run of this up to Pomeg berry glitch. I lost my poison by getting an encounter when Swampert was the only guy left and I missed my attack, so poison killed me on the end of turn. I got a Lv. 8 Pooch down to 1, and tried a berry on him. It didn’t work… Can you explain?
So you’re telling me, for the last 10 or so years, I never knew you could actually get latias in emerald? That’s the one legendary I never caught when playing emerald cuz I didn’t even know you could and back then the only legendaries the internet mentioned was the regis, rayquaza, groudon, and kyogrue
