The process has changed. They have made it so cumbersome that you get discouraged. Amazon regardless of the mode you use to ask to have your account deleted, they will have to send you a email with a link, once you click on that link, they once again ask you why you want to delete your account.
Отличное видео! Только у меня заблокировали аккаунт, как у покупателя, в аккурат после покупки простого монитора на итальянском амазоне. Перед этим отлично покупал то же самое на своем (испанском) амазоне. С десяток факсов(!!!), как они требовали, а также эл/сообщений (в течение полугода) с выписками с банковского счета и данными карты проигнорированы напрочь! Так что вряд ли меня можно убедить, что контора наполнена вменяемыми сотрудниками (и/или роботами)). Буду рад возражениям и советам) Всем удачи!!!
I too had trouble.I tried this route telling them clearly I wanted to close my Amazon account and understood all the terms and conditions.I received an email saying they could not close my Prime Account because I did not have one (I never mentioned anything about a Prime account ). But with this email comes 2 choices on «How did we do?»,click on the «did not solve my problem option «,this will take you to another Amazon page which has a very short survey and gives the option giving them a very poor rating.This then opens another option for them to try to solve your problem once more by a phone call from Amazon,this was immediate,you can talk free to an operator and it worked very well for me.

Thank you for your effort and great help! No wonder 85K people have viewed this and this tells me 85K people wanted to delete their account from Amazon.
What I dont understand is What is that to dislike about this tutorial as 69 people gave thumbs down.
BTW, Amazon changed the menu again from this tutorial so they can continue clamping down on their customers by not letting them go!
You will not see the «close account» option from the menu and instead they sent me a link after spending nearly an hour on the phone!
Go COSTCO for customer service!
Yeah, went through all that, however they couldn’t do it through chat. Did it again through email and still don’t have a confirmation. I canceled by Audible also, but Amazon seems to hold on to my wallet with their teeth, lol.
There is no more «Prime or Something else» button, nor is there a «Close my account» option. After a chat with a representative (under false pretenses for why you want help), you must review an email full of all the reasons to NOT close an account. At the bottom of such is finally the link to send an automated message back to them, stating you really want to close your account. Congratulations! You have now entered the next waiting period. This one takes 12-24 hours according to Amazon.com.
Edit: They notified me it was deleted within an hour, and I was able to confirm that on the Amazon website.
This thing started to suck my money with services I didn’t order neither received. I was unsubscribed from everything still got charges for nothing. I’m done. Removed my bank account datas, unlinked other accounts. Delete my amazon account…. Ty for the video.

Это значит что можно держать запущенным только 1 инстанс 750 часов в месяц, если 2 то это 375 часов. Поэтому если придерживаться этих лимитов все будет ОК!!
amazon duplicated an order which they admitted was their fault, they gave me a phone contact number for me to ring to rectify problem which gave me a refund, but unbeknown to me it was a premium number and it put a hefty £60 00 on my telephone bill that amazon refuses to reimburse me that is why i don’t wish to be an Amazon customer any more please beware the number is 09037084025 to any one else don,t use it.

I will try this, I have tried several times to cancel it, via chat, over the phone, nothing works, they said I would get a confirmation email, haven’t got it yet, instead I keep getting emails that someone has accessed my account, they bought a product (delivered to me) and put a 5 star review, this really makes me think who is behind all this???
Thanks for the video.What a complex way to finally find a link to only ask them to close your account. ‘Login and security’ has been added before ‘account settings’ to add more complexity. It’s obvious the goal is make it almost impossible for members to close their account. And it’s not finished…you then have to follow up for your email confirmation answer. I’m sure the procedure will change soon cause this one is now published here. Why does it always take a new law to protect customers today?

Thank you for your video, some things have changed from the time you did your video but it is a very good video regardless… I went a bit with common sense and voila! account closed… Amazon gives you a call, they send in a link… click on it… in comments, reason is there already, just put a «dot»…. send. Stay on line with the Amazon and wait until you get the link though, just in case, and do the close with him/her. Thank you very much again for the video.

Все будет нормально или прейдут счета за оплату?
По заявлению амазона, что мол я продаю контрафакт блокировали 7 товаров, потом после подачи документов, один товар разблочили остальные нет, хотя все 7 одинаковые товары. Что теперь ожидать? На все новые письма, просто отвечают как автомат
Карту Пионер уже нельзя заказать пока, на банковский счёт Пионер не придут деньги от Амазон или другой компании в размере более $30. Если использовать Амазон, чтобы активировать вторую карту, то при замене банковских данных, Амазон заблокирует аккаунт и потребует подтверждающие документы как при начальной регистрации аккаунта. А это, как мы все помним, ещё тот гемор.

После регистрации получил бан (Amazon has suspended your account) и прилетел запрос на Utility bill. Там есть фраза «Please provide the following documents and confirm there is a valid credit card on file».

Вообщем зарегистрировался в амазон, подписался на 30-ти дневный прем, так вот как только сделал это пытался связать с твичем. и меня заблокировали за то что я якобы ввел неверный пароль, хотя пароль был верным. у меня вот в чем вопрос, дальнейший прайм будет оплачиваться с моей карты? и как мне хотя бы отвязать карту от амазона и удалить аккаунт. просто уж очень не хочется терять по 12$ не за что.
June 2020 now instead go to Data Privacy quires instead of the prime option, there in the first drop down select Data Privacy (the only option) then in the second drop down select ‘delete account and data’ then you have to fill in an email template explaining why you want the account closed I opted for you’re a shit evil company for my reason:) then an email is sent and they then process it.
If you want to take it further you can get Website Blocker as a part of your google chrome extention and block them that way the website wont come up too. Hope this helps x
Подскажите, если я из РФ, то при покупке ВДС для рег. прод-ца на Амазон новый IP на новом ВДС обязательно должен быть РФ локации? Или он может быть другой страны (например Нидерланды, Латвия и т.д.)? Спасибо
