  • See this is the big difference. When was the LAST time UK saw Darren Gough or Moeen Ali or Freddie giving advice to kids the next generation tips on cricket bowling on national or regional TV? I’ll tell you when never! Aussie’s just have more pride and passion in their sports.

  • My biggest criticism of Krezya, when SA chased down 400 in Perth, was his lack of variation. For him to say its what attracted him to spin bowling seems a little far fetched. The tutorial however is excellent. The slider Warne talks about holding down the seam and bowling a normal leg break. Be worth you looking for that. Well done!

  • Just another tip or idea for possible viewers wanting to improve an aspect of their follow through or their action in general… I like to land on the balls of my feet instead landing flat footed. This gives me a bit more momentum in my follow through as the balls of my landing foot is used as a pivot to get me through my action into my follow through. This has reduced the odd one I have tended to drag short, which was due usually to me not completing my action

  • Warney: I was some 78-82 Kmph in the air..

    Rash: I am 90-91 Kmph…

Mark Howard: Rash is «Thompson of Leggies…»

    Anil Kumble: Hold my Beer…

  • This was so good. Thank you so much. Ive watched some tutorials of some spin legends but was still confused. This made it so crystal clear. Thank you so much. God bless!!

Just one quick question how did you decide 11 steps worked perfectly for you? I mean what happens when you try it with 9 steps or 13?

  • I agree with most, being the leg spinner myself for over 17 years. Having varieties may be good, but trying em all in one over is also not good practice, if you can execute them good on you. I believe in repetitive action, the most important thing as a leg spinner. With googlies and toppies arms comes at 90 degrees. Leg spin at 70 degrees if you want more turn. So repetitive action gets compromised, and you start bowling full tosses or long hops. Stick to one action and keep repeating it, with occasional variations. My 2 cents.

  • if shane warne would have played for nearly 20 more test matches then he could have easily broken murali’s record of 800 test wickets playing still playing less no of test matches than him but getting more wickets. SHANE WARNE HAS ROUNDED ACTION AND FLEXIBLE WRISTS AND STRONG SHOULDERS AND ELBOWS WHICH ALLOW HIM TO GET HUGE TURN EVEN WITH SIMPLES TACTION.SO HE WAS SURELY A GIFTED PERSON WHO WAS ALSO A HARDWORKER WHICH ALLOWS HIM TO LAND THE BALL AT THE CORRECT PLACE. RASHID GOT SMASHED IN THE LAST IPL OF 2019, IT IS SOMEWHAT DIFFICULT TO GET TURN WITH THE KIND OF LOW FRONT ARM ACTION AND FAST RUNUP WITH NOT SO FLEXIBLE WRISTS AND TIGHT GRIP. IN COMPARISION SHANE WARNE HAS A RELAXED GRIP WHICH ALLOWS HIM TO EASILY RELEASE THE BALL RATHER THAN PUSHING. SHANE ALSO FLIGHTS THE BALL MORE AS CAN BE SEEN IIN THIS VIDEO WHEREAS RASHID IS MUCH FLATTER AND QUICKER AND BOWLS STUMP TO STUMP WHICH THOUGH IS AN ADVANTAGE TO HIM.RASHIDS ADVANTAGE IS HIS DIFFERENT GRIPS,BUT WARNE IS A TRUE LEGEND.

  • TGFS, you need to use one of those big hairy covers on your microphone and use a directional microphone, you’d have eliminated all the sound interference/wind noise.  Good vid though, odd flipper variation, but if it works then use it I guess? When you bowl that ‘Slider’ are you attempting to put some back-spin on it?

  • Dude your leg break seriously needs work. It hardly spins a few centimeters. First things first get your self upright your leaning while bowling hence your delivery isn’t strong. Second your mistaken about the front arm it should be at half past 10 or 10 clock. At this height you can give the ball a real rip. Also come close to the stumps. And also remember to keep your thumb very gently or the ball and have an extremely loose grip. Don’t just move your fingers right to left. Rip the cover of the ball by literally rotating your wrist a full 180 degrees. I hope this helped. All the best good luck

  • This is probably the best guide to leg spin on YouTube. I would love to see a series breaking down each section with a longer video dedicated to each, especially things like developing run up, or things like your warm up and other conditioning training. Momentum through the crease is hardly covered elsewhere it’s all grip and variations in most videos

  • thanks a lot bro it was very useful tat slow motion captures was awesome the release point was visible enough once again thank you and i want to know more about leg spin as i am a leg spinner too i need to know about the drills for leg spinner and to know about the spots
