  • Yo bro i have e90 too but i dont know what wrong with my car after i pump in gas is hard to start the car, it take 3 mins to turn on and everything is fine after that but the next time i pump gas in it happen again, hope u reply

  • You dont have to put the key in at all. These cars have keyless entry and keyless start. It can be locked with key in your pocket, walk up to the car and touch the door handle it will unlock. Leave the key in your pocket and itll start without using the key

  • I have a question for you I love you and Justin And I am so glad you guys kind of collaborated but my question is I have a 2004 BMW 530 I and my screen keeps re booting I found that my I drive spins it doesn’t click when you turn it so I ordered a new one of those but is that going to fix my problem what is the problem?

  • Hi, What is your go to option for having no ability to play bluetooth direct to Head unit? At present i am using a bluetooth FM transmitter to a free FM frequency but i find it varible quality?, so i also bought a simple bluetooth receiver which slots into armrest which connects to AUX in slot, this again works but i would love to find a way of changing it so its all inside the BMW system etc. I intend to keep the car long term and want a simple quality solution. Without having to go to BMW or an Audio company to get it sorted etc. Any recommendations?

  • I just bought 2006 E60, and in options list i see there is “0322 Comfort Access”, now i can’t test if it works, because the 2 of my keys doesn’t lock/unlock the car via buttons, need to replace the diversity antena. But i have question, is there are sensors or something that i can see on the door handles which will be for comfort access? Thank you!

  • Hey there,

I have a situation with my 2011 BMW 328i Xdrive. I can’t unlock my doors with my Key Fob anymore and I have use the actual key to unlock the driver side door just to get into. WhenI get in to the Car and I put my Key Fob to the ignition, the doors are automatically lock and unlock again.

My Key Fob is acting weird, the button for locking the doors and opening the trunk are not working, but I can lock the doors with the unlock button that seems the only one is working.

All the doors are automatically lock When I close the driver side door with condition that all the doors are unlock.

I’ve check, all the fuse are good and I’m not sure if it’s door actuator since it doesn’t show up which door is it? My question is what is going on? Is it the key fob need to be replaced since mine doesn’t have comfort access? Is it the door actuator? Is it the fuse? Is it the door module?

I’ve been googling about it and trying to find DIY before I give up and go to the dealership…

    Thank You

  • I’ve had this car for four and a half years, 08 335xi coupe and this is the coolest thing. I wish I saw this years ago. Sucks you have to start it twice but hey I’ve got a brand new battery AND starter. Now for the $380 to register it…

  • The only thing…if your engine stalls while crossing a busy road (U turn or similar) due to the wrong gear or something I am not sure if the steering wheel lock does NOT engage….so what do you do if your key is in your pocket and not so quickly put into the key slot to disengage the lock? It is okay when the engine is running when the car is in a safe parked position without the key inserted but I would not drive WITHOUT the key inserted. Yes it happened to me a few times when I was not paying and I stalled the engine….

  • Sir, comfort access means no «keys» needed. Your demonstration is not a new trick. All BMW’s equipped with comfort access only require to have «the» key on your person in order to perform all neccessary functions, including starting the engine. NOT WHAT THIS VIDEO SAYS.

  • Brand new 2019 BMW X5! Let me know if you have questions about this vehicle and I’ll assist you as best I can. I’m still learning the nuances with this vehicle as it is a completely new approach to the iDrive but I will share new info and solutions to difficult to understand topics as soon as I’m able.

  • I have keyless entry on my 12,000$ car. Car key is in your pocket, just need to touch a button in the door handle which opens only the driver side or touch two times simultaneously to open locks of all doors and the boot. In that way it’s quite safe as it opens just the driver door when the button in the door is pressed just once.

  • Cool but rather useless feature. Why would need to take the key? Is your passenger gonna mess with it? Do you need it to warmup your car but then need your apartment key because you forgot something but don’t want to turn off the car? Keyless entry is what I thought Comfort access was about. I though maybe you found a way to reprogram the old key into having that feature. It’s a pain to get it the keys every time..

  • Pretty shameful for BMW to come out with this video in this day and age.

Thousands of cars get stolen everyday because of these keyless entry fobs. I guess they don’t care because they are not losing money like the end user.

    Conglomerate mentality.

The major loophole for these manufacturers are the insurance companies. This major design flaw needs to be banned outright
