  • One buff to the defensive physical juggernauts like Registeel, Steelix and of course Aggron would be a healing move. I think it could be called Metal Polish. Healing then as well as removing their additional non-Steel type for the rest of the turn (similar to Roost). Skarmory would not really benefit from that as it has Roost already.

  • Overheat from flannery’s torkal is quad resisted opposed to body slam being 2x resisted and while taking in overheats insane power it might do more I’m not sure but the way the trainers AI works is it takes the resistance into affect first so it would logically see ‘oh body slam is less resisted must do more’

  • Aggron was literally a loser before gen 5. The typing hindered it a lot… two double weaknesses and weakness to water. In gen 4 DP it was semi-viable with Metal Burst and sash or with Head Smash and bend-scarf, but it was weak. In gen 5 instead the new effects of Sturdy made it really dangerous, and then in gen 6 with the Mega it became an useful and strong tanky mon.

  • I mostly ran an Agility, Baton Pass, Ambipom to help my Aggron since Autotomize takes up an entire move slot

In my opinion Ambipom is one of the best baton passers depending on if you wanna sack it off on the first turn and have it live with a focus sash in order to Baton Pass to Aggron

  • The Ground, Steel and Rock types are my favorite types in the game but what’s very clear is that when you mix Rock with Steel or Ground as a dual type, it cripples them defensively and especially in the special defense category. The irony is that Rock and Steel have very high defense but you wouldn’t know that since they go down easily due to being 4x weak to a other types when mixed together plus the already existing 2x weakness each type has separately. Combining Ground and Steel fairs better. Rock seems to do more harm than good in terms of defense when combining it with the latter 2 types.
