Странно, что Вы не находите грамматических ошибок в положительных отзывах. А идеи, на самом деле, не очень. Тем более, что сделать все это на том участке, который Вы нам демонстрируете, довольно легко. Покажите, например, как валиком покрасить в углу стен. Или под потолком.

Также можно сделать или купить трафарет, его прикладываешь и наносишь гипсовую штукатурку сверху, сразу после нанесения убираешь и идешь дальше. Есть готовые в интернет магазинах, в обычных не нашел, а еще можно купить в строительном гипермаркете пластиковую стеновую панель стилизованную под нужную форму камня или кирпича, лезвием вырезать по контуру отверстия и уаля трафарет. Такой вариант дает большую вариативность форм, очень высокую скорость (1 кв метр за 15 минут примерно, без шлифовки), требует минимум необходимой сноровки.

Честно, обои уже так осточертели, хочется чего-то этакого. Мне так нравится Карибский стиль или стиль Латинской Америки. Там обои не клеят, ибо там слишком сыро. Там стены красят в невероятные цвета. Я тоже хочу себе стены без обоев, яркие и необычные.

The technique at 03:04 is NOT paint. It is skim coat plaster or «topping compound» tinted with paint and troweled on the wall in a thin coat, then combed with «glue or mortar comb». Neat technique, but NOT paint alone.

The plaster, topping compound projects are fine. But they are not for the average person. Topping compounds are very thick. It needs mixed by a professional tool and large 1/2″ drill. It needs thinned to trowel on smooth as you see in the video, and that is not easy to just «learn» DIY in an afternoon. Just the manner in spreading it evenly on the wall is a learned profession in itself. Too thick, it will crack or fall off the wall. Too thin, it is worthless. Using the little patterns such as tablecloths is a mess because it needs to be cleaned between uses. Otherwise it will clump up and stick and dry on it. The sponge patterns are generally easy for a beginner. Using the mortar comb is easy to do, but NOT easy to maintain even and level courses across the wall. If plaster is dropped on carpet or hardwood floors it can penetrate and stain the surface. Even if cleaned immediately. If you have one drop on the floor, you WILL step in it and track it everywhere. (Ive done it and Im a pro). You can buy plaster in dry bag and mix it as needed, but a learned skill. Or you can buy pre-made in 5 gal buckets, but still needs mixed to make smooth and creamy. It is a waste of cost and material if only doing one wall. It does not store well after opening. Many of the home made rollers she made are available for sale at bigger stores. Some are not. Plaster will NOT stick well to a painted wall! It needs a rough surface to adhere to! If you put plaster on a Enamel painted wall it will be like peanut butter on glass. IF YOU DECIDE to use plaster and texture it on your wall, YOU ARE STUCK WITH IT. To change back it is a MESS FROM HELL to get rid of it and CAN BE COSTLY. DO NOT DO THAT IF YOU ARE RENTING! I promise you, You will lose and maybe more than your deposit. Once you use tape and paint and have payers of paint. You will have TAPE edges remaining. WHEN you go back to paint again, NO IF, but WHEN, you will see the tape edge lines under the new paint. ALL THOSE lines will need to be sanded smooth. BEFORE priming and sanding again to get the wall smooth. COULD be a «deposit» problem again as well. If it is your house have at it! Have fun. But I was a General Contractor for 45 years. I started out as a painter. Ive done it all and more than you can imagine. Im just trying to warn you of what CAN and WILL happen. Always practice on something ELSE FIRST. Buy a 24″X24″ sheet of 1/2″ dry wall/sheetrock to play with. They do sell them at the store. Or go buy a construction site and you will find PLENTY of it and the guys will let you have all you want from the dumpster as long as it’s not been wet.
Tips: Plaster dries fast. Keep the knife (spreader) clean along the edge at ALL times. It will dry on it and scratch the place when you try to spread it. When using a sponge, it doesnt take much paint dont soak it. NEVER mix paint like the 3 color stuff if it is NOT the same brand and type. NEVER mix Oile base and Water base paint. Sounds stupid for me to say that, But I DO say that because I have seen it done.
Paint rarely needs thinned for any reason, even with professional sprayers. But they do need thoroughly mixed by shaking and stirring.
If you need a break between coats and going to use the roller with the same color again. Put the head of it is a plastic grocery store bag. Take the air out and wrap the excess around the handle wire. Put it in the fridge overnight! It keeps it from drying out. Just of course make sure it’s not running and dripping with paint before putting it in the bag, or your fridge and spouse will not be happy.
USE DROP CLOTHS EVERYWHERE ON EVERYTHING!! No exceptions! Even PRO’s have accidents.
NEVER put roller pan on floor BEHIND YOU for any reason. ALWAYS have plastic and something like an old towel under the pan. It absorbs any drips and keeps it from sliding around as well.
IF you go to do a plaster type wall. Be prepared to do it all at once. You can’t take breaks other than a pee break. And don’t fool around with it. Do it. If you dont like it, use the «knife» (the proper name, drywall knife) and scrape it off before it drys. KEEP THE HANDLE DOWN LOW to the wall. EASY EASY EASY, do not gouge the paper covering on the wall!!! If you need to do this, you can use a large sponge, soak it, wring it out and wash the remainder of the plaster clean from the wall.
When using plaster from a 5 gal bucket. NEVER scrape a tool at or on the edge of the bucket. NEVER NEVER NEVER! It will dry. It will fall DRY into your plaster. NOW you have this chunk of dried shit scraping into your NEW wall or pattern. When not scooping plaster out of bucket. PUT the PLASTIC that was on the plaster inside the bucket back directly ON THE PLASTER. Clean the rim that shouldnt have to be cleaned, because you never et any get on it. And put the lid back on. It dries out quickly.
Practice anything first. Even a full sheet of sheet rock is under 10 USD to practice on.
I truley believe 99% of people can learn skills. But I know well enough that people cannot just pick up and do things as well as others who are trained or have practiced for years and properly taught how. I and many friends made a lot of money on the side fixing shit people messed up on their own trying some of the things in this video. Sorry, but true.
